With decades of experience as a business technology consultant, manager, and executive, Jeff has worked with hundreds of companies, organizations, and institutions to envision, define, design, develop, deliver and embrace great solutions that exactly meet their needs. That experience has also informed a deep commitment to cyber risk management, security, privacy, and compliance, and the importance of balancing speed and innovation with caution and consideration.
Joe Cannella is a highly accomplished senior executive offering deep knowledge of core business processes, wide-ranging technical mastery, and a strategic approach to leadership, team building, and relationship management. Joe was CIO at Tempel Steel from 2009 until he retired in 2020. At Tempel, he developed and executed the dynamic, long-term business and technology roadmap, implemented a wide range of business systems, moved all business systems to the cloud, deployed a global security monitoring and user testing/training, and initiated a continuous training program for all IT staff. Prior to Tempel, Joe spent 20 years in a consulting firm that specialized in systems and operations improvement for mid-sized manufacturers. He has taught Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, and Information Technology classes at the college level and for many companies, and he is a frequent speaker. Joe was a finalist for the ORBIE CIO of the Year in 2019 and nominated for the SIM CIO of the Year in 2019, 2018, and 2016.
